Celebrate Pride with Allegiant
In cities across America, thousands will come together to celebrate diversity, inclusivity and equality at LGBTQ+ events this month. June means Pride Month, and because it’s the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising (a series of demonstrations and riots in New York’s Greenwich Village that eventually led to the first Gay Pride marches in US history), you can expect an even grander spectacles of love and community. We have put together a list, so come celebrate in one of these exhilarating festivities.
Pride in New Orleans
NOLA truly encompasses and embraces the message of “One CommUNITY” and has been since February 1971. The Big Easy kicks off their celebration with a New Orleans Baby Cakes game and continues the fun with so many more festivities like a ball at the Joy Theater and a closing party at Elysian Brewing. The New Orleans Pride Parade begins Friday, June 7th and wraps up June 9th.
Pride in Tampa
Tampa celebrates 17th Pride Celebration kicks off June 19th at the beautiful Sirata Resort, along the St Pete Beach. This year, Tampa Bay is celebrating in style as Rita Ora helps to get the party started. Join over 250,000 participants, as the march together to celebrate a day of inclusivity and love. With dozens of events to choose from, the festival spans over four weeks.
Pride in Denver
Denver PrideFest makes its mark as the largest celebration of LGBTQ pride in the Rocky Mountain region. From live entertainment to the Pride 5K race, there is so much to do and so much to celebrate. Help the City of the Plains party it up June 15-16, along with so many others to celebrate and honor the diversity in the Colorado community.
Pride in Austin
Keep Austin weird and INCLUSIVE. Austin is dedicated to bringing awareness and celebrating the beautiful diversity of the Queer Community. Come celebrate with Capital City at Fiesta Gardens with over 400,000 attendees. The Austin Pride Boogie Wonderland commences August 10th2020欧锦赛时间, and you can expect there to be lots of dancing, carnival rides and exhilarating performers.
New York Pride
One word: WorldPride! New York City celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall uprising and hosts the largest Pride celebration in the world. Over the month of June, you can join more than three million people and partake in over 50 events to take part in a truly historic moment for the LGBTQ+ community. Come join the global celebration of love!
LA Pride Weeks occurs May 31-June 9 but the city of angels hosts events throughout the entire month. LA Pride has celebrated equality and diversity in the Greater Los Angeles Area for over 40 years, as LA was the one of the first three cities (New York City and Chicago the other two) to host a Gay Pride march. The highlight of the week is the LA Pride Festival in West Hollywood that includes performances by Meghan Trainor, Years & Years and GRAMMY® Award winner Ashanti. This year’s festival also includes the first-ever Pride on the Boulevard, a free block party with entertainment, vendors, rides and attractions.
